Poor dog just can't catch a break, although he's more adorable here than in Guard Dog... I also love Plympton's style here, which looks like it was done with colored pencils.

I've always loved Plympton's style-- and the way he anthropomorphizes the world here (especially giving the cars teeth/faces, which we've all done at some point in our minds). The film might be a little macabre for the youngest of kids, but older kids should get a kick out of it.
